Every trip includes 90 minutes at the service destination from arrival. Select planned extra waiting when a longer appointment is expected.

For adult children, spouses, and other family caregivers, transportation is one part of a much larger recovery schedule. Merit Care coordinates pickup and return arrangements with the person managing the trip.

Before you book
The first 10 miles are included, measured from Merit Care’s business location. Standard mileage charges apply starting at mile 11. We review your route and vehicle availability, then confirm any additional mileage charge separately. Payment for additional mileage is due within 24 hours after trip capacity is confirmed.
Wheelchair planning: If the combined weight of the rider and wheelchair exceeds 250 pounds, please call before booking to discuss your transportation needs. Bariatric transportation is not currently available.
Private-pay transportation. Medicaid and insurance are not accepted at this time.
